After 16 years outstanding service to the residents of North East Hampshire, the Right Honourable James Arbuthnot MP announced his retirement. He will step down at the next General Election.

James Arbuthnot, MP for North East Hampshire, met with the Planning Minister, Brandon Lewis MP last week to highlight the issues facing Hart District in the production of its Local Plan. Cllr Ranil Jayawardena, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for North East Hampshire, also attended the meeting and called for the Minister to help our local council.
