More money for primary school sport

An extra £3,776,800 will go to primary schools Hampshire to transform school sport, improve coaching for the youngest pupils and inspire the Olympic and Paralympic stars of the future.

James signs Holocaust Memorial Day Book of Commitment

Last week, James Arbuthnot, MP for North East Hampshire, signed a Book of Commitment in the House of Commons, in doing so pledged his commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day, honoured those who died during the Holocaust, and hoped that by doing so, this would encourage all to work together to combat prejudice and racism today. 

Resolution to Post Office / Horizon system problems proposed

Members of Parliament yesterday met senior representatives from the Post Office to discuss some issues raised by a number of SubPostmasters and SubPostmistresses concerning apparent shortages and branch accounting procedures. 

James Arbuthnot MP spreads the word about type 1 diabetes in Parliament

James has shown support for JDRF, the world’s leading type 1 diabetes research charity, by attending the ‘Type 1 Parliament’ lobbying event which took place in Westminster on 25 April 2012. He attended the event alongside 50 other MPs, and spoke to adults and children about living with type 1 diabetes.
